Chandigarh, the one of the double role playing cities in India as the capital city of Punjab And Haryana and also a one of the nine Union Territory of India. Chandigarh has a population of over 1 million people and is built near a large lake, Sukhana Lake as the city has no major river flowing near it. The temperature in Chandigarh reaches up to 45 degrees Centigrade and over in summers and below 10 degrees Centigrade in winters. The climate of the city is mostly humid and fluctuates very drastically.

The city is the 1st planned city of India as it was the dream city of the 1s PM of India, Jawahar Lal Nehru. The city has so much of greenery and cleanliness and is also a self-sustaining city with multiple industries in the nearby area. Speaking of the industries the city is now also moving towards the clean sources of energy i.e., solar system energy. The city is now building its own solar panel industry to become a sustainably developed city. The electricity supply in the city is good but with a dramatic climate the city witnesses multiple power-cuts through-out the day.
