Solar in Ahmedabad

AHMEDABAD, Gujarat: Ahmedabad, in western India, is the largest city in the state of Gujarat. The Sabarmati River runs through its center. On the western bank is the Gandhi Ashram at Sabarmati, which displays the spiritual leader’s living quarters and artifacts. Across the river, the Calico Museum of Textiles, once a cloth merchant’s mansion, has a significant collection of antique and modern fabrics.

As the city is famous for its beautiful monuments and ancient rich culture, Agra is also famous for being one of the most polluted cities in the world. The city is now cleaning itself with environmental policies leading towards being a clean and green city. The UP government has started awareness plans to make people install solar panels in the city with subsidies on solar panels.
